An unidentified terrorist was killed in an encounter with safety forces in Jammu and Kashmir”s Budgam district on Saturday, whereas one other escaped cordon however was arrested in Pulwama, police stated.
The forces had launched a cordon-and-search operation within the Mochuwa space of Budgam, following inputs concerning the presence of ultras there, a police official stated.
He stated the search operation was an encounter because the terrorists fired upon the safety personnel, who mounted a retaliation.
