Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information APKMesh (“we,” “us,” or “the site”) collects when you visit apkmesh.com, how that information is used, and the choices and rights you have over it. We have written it in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask us at contact@apkmesh.com and we will explain it directly.

Information We Collect

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our servers record standard log data when you visit: your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you requested, the page you came from, and the date and time of your visit. These log files are used to operate the site, understand which guides are being read, diagnose errors, and detect abuse. Log data is not used to build profiles of individual visitors.

Information you send us

If you contact us through the contact form or by email, we receive the information you choose to provide — typically your name, email address, and the contents of your message, which for support requests often includes details about your computer hardware and software configuration. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and, where a message reveals an error in a guide, to correct our content. We do not sell support correspondence, and we do not add support email addresses to marketing lists.

Cookies and similar technologies

APKMesh uses a small number of cookies. Some are functional and required for the site to work correctly. Others are set by the third-party services described below, principally for advertising and anonymous analytics. You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; the site will remain readable, though some embedded features may behave differently.

Advertising and Google AdSense

APKMesh displays advertising served by Google AdSense and may work with other advertising partners in the future. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website and other websites on the Internet. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve personalised ads to you based on your browsing activity.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (google.com/settings/ads). You can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Opting out does not remove advertising from the site; it means the ads you see will be less targeted. Please also note that:

  • We do not control the cookies set by advertising partners once they are placed on your device; their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
  • Advertising partners may use web beacons or similar technologies alongside cookies to measure ad performance.
  • We do not share your contact details or support messages with advertising partners.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage of the site — which articles are read, roughly where visitors come from, and which guides lead to follow-up questions. Analytics data is processed in aggregate form and is used to decide what to test and publish next. Where an analytics provider sets cookies, they are covered by the cookie description above and by that provider’s own privacy policy.

Legal Bases and Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your data, restriction of or objection to processing, and a copy of your data in a portable format. Our legal basis for processing log data is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site; for support correspondence, it is our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@apkmesh.com with “Privacy” in the subject line. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion of that information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information in the conventional sense; however, the use of advertising cookies by third-party partners may be considered a “share” of information for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law. You may opt out of personalised advertising using the Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info links above, and you may contact us at the address above with any deletion or disclosure request.

Children’s Privacy

APKMesh is a technical resource written for PC users and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Data Retention and Security

Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting and are then rotated out. Support emails are retained only as long as needed to resolve the enquiry and maintain a record of guide corrections. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited data we hold, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page, and continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
